Senior Software Engineer at Amazon

I'm a senior software engineer at Amazon.

This site collects the things I build and write about outside of work.

Projects

  • Lampmile

Hourly wind forecasts for the summit itself, not the valley below it: free-air wind pushed over real terrain by a wind solve that runs on the GPU in your browser, and checked against the stations that sit up there.

  • Bars Cadence

A music composition tool that turns sections, chord progressions, and intent blocks into MIDI you can play in the browser or export to a DAW.

Writing

  • Why I built Lampmile

A stormy night on Cotopaxi, and the forecast tool that came out of it.
